Before you begin writing, it’s essential to review the Common App essay prompts<\/strong> to ensure your response aligns with what’s expected. Here is a complete guide on how to write a good essay\u2014so go through it thoroughly before you start.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The essays are of two types: the <\/span>University-specific Essay<\/b> and the <\/span>Common Application Essay<\/b>. The University-specific Essays are generally for <\/span>a<\/b> maximum of 500 words<\/b>. This focuses on the applicant.
