The university has a vibrant international community and accepts many Indian students every year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Why choose NTU?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Flipped Classrooms<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NTU follows a unique style of \u201cflipped learning\u201d which is a team-based online learning method that allows students to apply their knowledge to solve problems. I personally feel that this style of learning is very adaptive in nature and the student can study at their own pace, which isn\u2019t offered by many other universities.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Two years of guaranteed living on campus<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With more than 24 residential halls, students at NTU are spoilt for choice. Students can opt to live in single rooms or double rooms. The Residential Education program offers a wealth of learning experiences outside the classroom from fitness classes (yoga, kickboxing) to cooking sessions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>A truly global education<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to NTU\u2019s \u2018Hey!\u2019 Magazine, at least 8 out of 10 undergraduates head abroad at least once in their time at NTU. NTU offers the \u2018GEM Explorer\u2019 exchange program with over 350 partner universities across the world. Besides this, undergraduates can embark on international internships, competitions and much more!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What does it take to get an acceptance from one of the most prestigious Asian universities?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to NTU\u2019s official website, a student from India requires a <\/span><b>minimum of 90%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in all subjects including English. However, as the competition levels are very high, <\/span><b>it is recommended to have a score of 95% and above<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in all subjects. Since NTU considers academic credentials as one of the most important factors during admission, it is imperative to have a good score in Grade 12. Before applying, make sure to check each course\u2019s subject requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Is NTU for you?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ranked as one of the top universities in the world, NTU\u2019s study atmosphere is challenging and requires its students to put in extra effort to continue learning outside the classroom. For me, I have found NTU\u2019s Undergraduate Research program, called URECA, to be one of the biggest plus points in my education here. Every high achieving student is granted the opportunity to pursue undergraduate research in a field of their choice under a leading expert in the field. Besides this, NTU offers various opportunities to learn and grow in different aspects &#8211; from research assistantships and entrepreneurship programs to CCAs and volunteering.
